The reason that people cannot keep their resolutions is because a resolution is a goal or a dream without a concrete plan to achieve it. Take your resolutions and create a daily action plan to help you actually achieve your resolution. Find the next two or three steps that can take you towards your goal. It doesn’t have to big a big step, in fact small baby steps are just as good as long as they are steps you can achieve in the present and are taking you towards your goal. By doing this on a daily basis, you will achieve your resolutions in a real practical way.
Example:
Resolution: “I will lose weight this year.”
Daily/Weekly Action: “I will eat at least one extra vegetable every day.”
